Embracing the Art of the Possible

  • Our Vision

We’re well aware that it’s all too easy to overlook the impact and power of art imagery. But we want to recognise and harness this. Ever since the creation and depiction of the earliest forms of art we have continued to value and celebrate the way in which art can reveal telling aspects of our culture, attitudes and lifestyle. We believe that this, in turn, has a profound impact on the creation of stronger communities and enhanced social welfare

  • Involving Local Communities

If we are to maximise the benefits of a richer artistic environment, we need to be as inclusive and wide-ranging as possible. To this end, we’re setting out to champion public art; reaching out to those who feel intimidated or unable to access more formal galleries, museums and performance spaces. We want to connect with schools, hospitals, offices and a whole spectrum of recreational areas which will allow us to put art at the very heart of the community.

  • We Believe

Nourishment for the mind is every bit as important as nourishment for the body. A healthy visual diet stimulates both our physical and our mental well-being. Art has long been recognised as a valuable healing tool and it remains an increasingly positive asset in a range of mainstream and experimental therapies. This “positive body and soul” discourse is one we will be embracing wholeheartedly.

  • Enriching Lives

We aim to challenge the weakened profile and the lack of recognition that is increasingly being given to the arts within the school curriculum. Young minds should not be denied the many benefits that flow from creative involvement or simply regular exposure to the arts in general. We already know that art can shape people’s lives but, more critically, it can transform them, too.
