Postcard News
As we approach the end of July, A4W have received nearly 100 postcard donations. People have been very generous with their time and talents and we are very grateful that they all wanted to be involved in this exciting project. We are planning to exhibit and sell the cards over a weekend in October and any remaining cards will be available on the website.
If you would like to donate a postcard of your own original art, there is still time to create one or more, the relevant details are on the webpage.
We are also keen to hear from people who may like to be involved with the day to day running of the Arts4Wokingham charity, we are looking for someone to help with the social media, Facebook and Instagram, we’ve had lots of followers and interest on both sites and they reach people all over the country and beyond.
Wokingham Festival
This year we will have a gazebo at the Wokingham festival to promote the fundraising for the Arc sculpture. The festival is on over the bank holiday, 27th, 28th and 29th of August, a free day ticket will be given to volunteers who can spend a morning or afternoon promoting the charity on the stand.
