Charity Clay Pigeon Shoot

Enjoy an exciting and exclusive day out hosted by Purdey at the award‑winning Royal Berkshire Shooting Ground.

The day combines first‑class shooting with premium hospitality in a beautiful valley and woodland setting. Teams of four compete across a professionally designed sporting course. All guns, cartridges and clays are provided.

Come as a team or by yourself. Non-shooting guests welcome.

AN INCLUSIVE PACKAGE

Shooting: 10 Stands to shoot including 1 team flurry. Professional shooting instructors on each stand

First Class hospitality: Breakfast, Elevenses, Champagne reception and a 3 course lunch followed by awards, presentations and a charity auction for premium prizes.

Shotguns: Guests are welcome to bring their own shotguns. If they do, they ought to travel with their shotgun licence. Those who do not bring their own shotguns can borrow a shotgun from the shooting school.

Equipment: Cartridges and safety equipment (caps, ear plugs and glasses) will be provided. If you have your own ear defenders, please bring them.

Dress/footwear: There is no special dress code. The key advice for shooters is to wear comfortable clothing for shooting and appropriate for the weather.

Lunch: Guests will be seated in the newly refurbished Purdey Lodge with other members of their team and guests.

SCHEDULE

Arrive from 8:30am

9am-9:45am Breakfast and registration

9.45am Safety briefing

10-10:15am Leave for shooting stands in teams

12-12:30 Elevenses break, served out in the field (unless it is raining)

12:30-1:30pm Shooting continues until teams have completed the course

2pm Champagne reception, followed by 3 course lunch, charity auction and prize giving

4-4:30pm Event ends

Located 50 miles west of London, the Shooting School is just 10-minutes from Pangbourne train station or a short drive from Junction 12 of the M4.
